Ronnie Hollie

Ronnie Hollie, 68, of Bokoshe, OK entered the Lord’s kingdom on March 19, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. Ronnie was born October 18, 1943 in Henry, OK to Charles Cyril & Gladys Bernice (Cheshier) Hollie. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Sharon Stiles & Linda Stark. Ronnie was a U.S. Veteran, mechanic, chicken farmer and cattleman. He was a member of the Bokoshe Church of Christ. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Leta Jean Hollie; son & his wife, Kerry & Mary Hollie; daughter & her husband, Kathy & Dale Fout; grandchildren, Christina Hollie, Kerry G. Hollie II, Kailyn Hollie, Stephen DeWitt, Dakota Fout, Dyllan Fout ; one great grandchild, Addyson DeWitt all of Bokoshe, OK; brothers & their wives, Gary & Viola Hollie of Keota, OK, Terry & Wanda Hollie of Stigler, OK; sister, Sue Taylor-Dunn of Poteau, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends. Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Bokoshe Church of Christ with Joe Avery, Rev. Jim Loris, and Don Cherry officiating. Interment will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kerry Hollie II, Lary Carver, Brad Stroud, Kerry Osburn, Wayne Jetton, John Labor Jr., Charles Perdue, Wes Stroud. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Brewer and Larry Hammons. The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends. The family sends a special thanks to the Poteau Dialysis Center.
