He is survived by a son; two daughters; a sister and brother in law, Kathy & husband Eric Frey of Howe, OK; 3 brothers, Larry & wife Laurie of Illinois, Jerry & wife Darlene of Missouri and Gary Truelove of Poteau, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Memorial services were conducted 2 pm, Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau.

Went to his memorial service today at Poteau.Brought back a lot of memories.He was the only classmate I had for the full 12 years.8 Years at Monroe and 4 at Poteau.I have thought about him a lot of times through the years.Robert Shankle
