Betty is survived by her companion, E.G. Falkner of the home; a daughter & son in law, Paula & Clifford Dewitt; 4 sons & daughters in law, Joe & Christina Edwards, Wendell & Astrid Edwards, Nathan & Cindi Self, & Kelly & Sherry Self; 5 sisters Oleda Helton, Lucille Dees, Doris & husband George Thomas, Nadine Edwards, & Polly Dewitt; brother & sister in law, Donnie & Carol Dewitt; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives & loved ones; & many beloved friends.
Funeral services for Betty were held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with the Reverend Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Interment followed the services in Fairview Cemetery in Panama, OK with arrangements under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
