She was born on May 3, 1945 in Seattle, Washington to Evelyn and D.P. Thompson and passed away on August 17, 2022 in Wister, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Johnson; son, Adam Morris.
Survivors include: son, Chris Morris; grandchildren, Clancy Morris, Casey Morris; great grandchildren, Landin Morris, Boston Vaughn, Buck Vaughn; sisters, Lani Reed, Debbie Mallard; brother, Pete Mitchell, Troy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.

Nina and David were so good to Momma and Daddy (Frank and Nadine Carpenter). They would bring them fish ready to fry. And would always check on them. Praying for all🙏🏻
Nina was a sweet sweet lady. When I was going thru a hard point in my life she was the one to come by the post office every morning and give me encouragement and scriptures to read to help me through each day. Such a light for me at the time!!❤
