Mary Faye Martin, 71, of Heavener, OK passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her home. Mary was born July 6, 1950 in Price, Utah to William Albert & Emma Jean (Johnson) Hanley. Mary enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved and servd her family and church with a joyful heart. Though she will be missed, we celebrate her eternal homein heaven. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Earl Hanley and her husband, Billy Don Martin.
She is survived by her son & daughter in law, Don & Janna Martin of Poteau, OK; daughters & sons in law, Dawana & Gary Peterson of Hontubby, OK, Trish & Kevin Payne of Howe, OK; sister & brother in law, Pat & Bruce Hamm of Monticello, KY; brother, Dennis Hanley of Poteau, OK; sister in law, Troy Faye Hugle of Fanshawe, OK; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at New Beginning Church, Poteau, OK with Bro. Don Martin officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary, Trevor and Trent Peterson, Derrek Payne, Caleb Gibson and Don Johnston Jr. Honorary pallbearer – Kevin Payne.Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
