Lucille Hale Gregory passed away peacefully from this life on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 97. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Gregory. She is survived by a sister, Kathleen Hale and a son, Gordon and wife Esther. She had two grandsons, Joshua Gregory, Ryan Gregory and wife Tina. In addition she has seven great-grandchildren, Sage, Jaden, Madison, Guinever, Owen, Victor and Briar; many other family members and friends.
Her lively sense of humor and colorful personality always brightened our day. She was an accomplished athlete being in the basketball Hall of Fame. Also, she and her sister, Kathleen were in a basketball league at the Santa Fe Springs Southern Baptist Church, California. She was a Master Gardener, keeping her mother’s giant produce garden alive and green for many decades. It was her joy to share the bounty with family and friends. She never let a visitor leave without something from the garden.
Graveside services 10 am, Friday, November 5, 2021 at Vaughn Cemetery will be officiated by Phil McGehee. Interment will follow.
Donations of Gideon Bibles may be made in her memory by contacting the funeral home. Acknowledgements will be sent to the family on your behalf.

Aunt Lucille had a spirited character that made us all laugh, smile and keep you guessing. She always was lively and a great sense of humor. She will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace sweet sweet Lucille, Love Rickey and Brenda
