James Hillard “Buster” Williams, 68, of Pocola, OK passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Pocola. Buster was born April 11, 1953 in Greenwood, AR to J.C. Hillard & Helen Marie (Wallace) Williams. He worked in the family construction business until his retirement. He was a veteran of the US Navy who served his country honorably. Buster was a plain spoken, hard working man who was well thought of by a host of friends and acquaintances. His family loved him very much. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gail Williams & brother, Jimmy Don Williams.
He is survived by his companion, Pam Dixon; daughter, Jenifer Proffitt Graham; son, Robby Williams; stepchildren, Erica Peters, Jamie Suter, Bobby Dixon; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Judy Stephens, Hilda Stratton, Margaret Mitchell; brothers, Bobby Joe Williams, Tony Williams, Ronny Williams & Ricky Williams.
Graveside service will be 2 pm, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Ft. Smith National Cemetery, Ft. Smith, AR. The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Monday, from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
