Ronald Jeral Howe, 66, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Fort Worth, TX. Ron was born September 8, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to Robert “Bob” Jeral & Martha Louise (Daniels) Howe. Ron was a music minister for 40 years as well as a school bus driver for that amount of time. He was a member of the Singing Church Men of Oklahoma, Cavanal Choral, TV Choir for Oral Roberts, Good Times Theatre, a huge Poteau Pirate Fan. Ron would talk to anyone; he was full of ‘random’ knowledge, loved Halloween-dressing up and handing out candy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Howe, stepmother, Evelyn Howe.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty; daughters, Ronneena Sue Brickell, Jenna Louise Howe; son, R.J. Howe & Stephanie; brother Dan Howe; step brother, Bill Chatfield; grandchildren, Shelby, Sydney, Shaylynn, Stella, Riley Howe, Chyanne and Nathan Brickell; his father, Bob Howe; stepmother, Ruth Williams & Bill; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, August 12, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Poteau with Phil McGehee officiating. Burial will be 1 pm, Friday at Underwood Cemetery, Yale, OK. The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Ron you will be greatly missed. I am thankful that you had a heart for children. All those children's plays that you were in charge of at Church. Children's choir and so much more.
I am sad that you are gone. You was a stranger when I met you not too long ago. I hope I never forget you.
