Michael Eugene Hargrove, 60, of Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Ft. Smith, AR. Michael was born March 28, 1961 in Poteau, OK to James Carl & Gloria Dean (Chandler) Hargrove. He worked in auto parts sales. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents & sister, Sandra Jean Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Kemberley Kay; daughter, Julie Ellen Hargrove; brother, Jimmy Wayne Hargrove; granddaughter, Emily Rose Cagle; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial service will be 10 am, Friday, September 3, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau.

Mike will be greatly missed. He was a tremendous friend, a skilled craftsman, and a man who brightened our world with his quick wit! We will always hear him saying “Count on it, not!” And “Stay with me now!” We had many good memories through the years. Whenever Mike and Stan put their heads together, you knew it was either going to be trouble brewing or lots of money spent, but always lots of puns and laughter. Stan and I are going to miss Mike. He was a great friend. (I can hear him saying now…Aw Shucks!!! Count on it)
