Betty Jo Gedosh, 89, of Poteau, OK
passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at Fort Smith, AR. Betty was born June 16, 1931 in Yukon, OK to
Walter C. & Sophia Marie (Slopman) Mitchell. She was a school counselor. Betty was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Benjamin Gedosh; son, Danie Byous Jr.; sisters, Mary Turner, Samantha
Burt; brothers, Buddy, Doug and Dean Mitchell; half brothers, Argus & Mutt
Meeks.
Survivors include her daughter in law,
Susie Byous Lairamore; stepson, Jack & Joann Gedosh; granddaughters, Misty
& Jerry Collins, Lacey & Justin Downs; great grandchildren, Dani
Collins, Champ Downs, Dax Collins, Wrigley Downs, Rooklyn Downs; numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am, Friday,
September 11, 2020 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK with Phil McGehee
& Jim Cook officiating. Pallbearers
will be Jerry Collins, Justin Downs, Dax Collins, Champ Downs, Wrigley Downs
& Leon Mitchell.
