Randall Lee Vickers, 64,
of Wister, OK passed away Tuesday,
January 14, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR. Randy
was born December 3, 1955 in Delano, CA to Arthur “Cotton” & June (Evans)
Vickers. He was worked at CASC as well
as LeFlore County Assessor before retiring.
Randy was a diehard OU Fan who loved to fish, hunt and play golf. He graduated from Wister High School in 1974,
Carl Albert State College and Southeastern in Durant. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife
of 28 years, Linda; brothers, Alan Vickers of Heavener, OK, Shannon Vickers of
Tulsa, OK; nephew, Justin Vickers of Wister; niece, Candice Vaughn of Poteau,
OK; great niece and nephews, Camryn Vickers, Lily Vaughn, Nick Vaughn &
Zack Vaughn; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Friday, January 17, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Tracey Loyd
officiating. Interment will follow at
Summerfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will
be Justin Vickers, Billy Vaughn, Jeff Goad, Wayne Goad, Lynn Mattox & Mike Mattox. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Walden,
Mitchell Goad, Mike Vickers, Kevin Vickers and Carna Woolbright.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives and
friends.
