Carroll Edward Yarbrough
Sr., 69, of Poteau, OK passed away
Thursday, November 21, 2019 in Poteau.
Carroll was born December 24, 1949 in Morrilton, AR to Elmo & Maxine
(Hill) Yarbrough. He was parts manager
at Poteau Motor Co. and also worked at Poteau Pawn & Gun. Carroll loved fishing, coin collecting and
visiting with his regulars at the pawn shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Janie Smith, nephew,
Seth Yarbrough; mother and father in law, Corrine & Loyd Smith.
Survivors include his wife,
Jenice; sons, Carroll E. Jr. & Austin H.; daughter, Nora Beth Cunningham
& husband James all of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, Chassity & Arron
Widdifield, Alexis Yarbrough; sister, Sandra Carpenter & husband Harold of
West Memphis, TN, Tina Yarbrough; brother, Allen Yarbrough; sister in law & brother in law, Janice
& Paul Dickson of Poteau; brother in law & sister in law, Buddy &
Connie Smith of Alma, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones
and friends.
Services will be 2 pm
Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow at
Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers
will be Todd Lowrimore, Eric Blaylock, Jim Berngen, Lance Smith, Ledger
Lowrimore.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
