Stephen B. Foster, 69, of Wister, OK passed away Tuesday, August
8, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR. Stephen was
born January 17, 1948 in Holdenville, OK to William Glen & Clara Mae
(Johnston) Foster. He attended Bethel
Baptist Church in Wister. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. Stephen was the former CFO for Carl Albert
State College. He was preceded in death
by his parents; sister, Virginia Sue
Howry and nephew, Clinton Dee Howry.
Survivors include his wife,
Mary Lee Foster of the home; daughter & her husband, Erin & Branndon
Reid; son, Keith David Foster; granddaughter, Aislynn Evangeline Reid all of
Wister, OK; brothers in law, Dale Howry of Ada, OK, Leslie E. & wife Tammy
Stone of Cameron, OK; sister in law, Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Hale of
Spiro, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be held 2 pm,
Friday, August 11, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church, Wister, OK with Revs. Clyde
Steelman and Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Branndon Keith Reid, Dusty
Wayne Duvall, Cody Hale, Clifford Lindley, Wesley Lindley & Cramer
Tennison. Honorary pallbearers will be
Jim Horne, Joe Powers, Donald Gene Holliman, Richard Reif, Dale Howry, Michael
Reif, Carl Hale, Ken Howry & Pete Rhyne.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
