Eva Gail Montgomery, 64, of
Pocola, OK passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR. Eva Gail was born May 28, 1953 in Poteau, OK
to Charles Jefferson & Lillian Christine (Goins) Thompson. She was an employment specialist with
Workforce of Oklahoma. She loved to
read, write poems and work on genealogy.
Eva Gail was preceded in death by
her husband, Walter Franklin Montgomery; her parents; granddaughter, Chelsea;
and several siblings.
She is survived by her sons
& daughters in law, Jeff & Rhonda Montgomery of Heavener, OK, Dewayne
& Kalley Montgomery of Sallisaw, OK; daughter, Alisha Montgomery of Pocola,
OK; 6 grandchildren, Destiny, Dakota, Jeffery John, John Charles,
Tyler Blaine & Shelby; brothers & sisters, J.B., Mike, Wayne, Brenda
& Shirley; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends. Private services will be held
at a later date.
