Roy Wilbur Hoover, 88, of Pocola, OK passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Arkoma, OK. Roy was born April 9, 1923 in St. Joseph, MO to Roy & Anna Hoover. He was a carpenter. Roy was a jack of all trades. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Tina Hoover.
Survivors include Sons, Roy Hoover Jr., Dan Hoover of Peoria, AZ, Sam Hoover of St. Joseph, MO, Roger Hoover, Larry Newport of Eufaula, OK; daughters, Jean Brooks of Phoeniz, AZ, Suzie Wollert of Hudson, CO, Barbara Leonard of Greenwood, AR, Sally Day of Eufaula, OK; 21 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 graveside at Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola, OK with Rev. Thomas Corrigan officiating. Interment will follow.
