Linda Faye Emmert, 66, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 in Poteau. Linda was born December 7, 1945 in Fort Smith, AR to Hugh & Verna Delilah (Lear) Roam. She was a teachers aid at CASC. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer & son,, Frank.
Survivors include her brother & sister in law, Harry &Donna Aldinger of Tuscaloosa, AL; uncle, Raymond Lear of Van Buren, AR; brother in law & sister in law, Arthur & Leeora Emmert of Rudy, AR; numerous cousins; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Interment will follow.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
