Shawna Jeanette Graham Beallis, 34, of Fort Smith, AR passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 in Fort Smith. Shawna was born August 9, 1977 in Big Springs, TX to Lucky George & Teresa Cay (Davis) Graham. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Shawna was a loving mother, precious daughter and sister. She always had fun living life.
Survivors include her daughter, Bella Grace Graham of the home; husband, Dr. Randy Beallis of the home; stepchildren, Melissa Beallis, Ryan Beallis, Emily Beallis all of Ft. Smith, AR; her parents, Lucky & Teresa Graham of Poteau, OK; sister & brother in law, Heather & Jose Chavez of Poteau, OK; brother, Michael Shane Barden of Midland, TX; 4 nephews, Reese, Samuel, Derek, & Mac; 3 nieces, Whitney, Adaesha & Tanner; grandmother, Veda Davis of Poteau, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Poteau, OK with Rev. Stefan Reed & Rev. Stephanie Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Niki Dehart, Rachel Kardokus, Tracy Morgan, Mandy Morrison & Whitney Chavez.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
Contributions may be placed in Bella’s name at the Community State Bank, Poteau, OK.

My heart goes out to the whole family. I pray for you to have peace and understanding with this. She was a sweet lady the short time I got to know her.
I miss working with you and hearing all your funny stories! You will be forever missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your famiy and sweet Bella.

Teresa, Lucky and Heather and family--Mike and I are so sorry to hear of Shawna passing. She was a beautiful and very sweet young lady, who loved people. We will be out of town next week for Dr. appointments, but if we can do anything later, please let us know. Shawna is in a better place than we are--she will feel no more pain from cancer-- and be a beautiful angel looking down from Heaven to help guide Bella and all the family.We are praying for all the family, knowing that your hearts are broken--We send our love, Mike and Garlena Vickers

I send my sincere deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know the trials Shawna endured a few years back. Shanna as well as my entire household thought the world of this brave soul. Please find comfort and peace as best as you can in this dark hour. The world has weakened, but Heaven just got stronger.

Dr.Beallis, Bella Grace,and the Graham Family... Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Death is never an easy thing but remember this is a time to lean on one another- no one is to blame. Shawna will be missed in so many ways- She is an ANGEL with the biggest SMILE - and she will hold her baby Bella tight in her arms forever and ever. There are moments in life when you wish you could bring someone back, spend the day with them just one more time, give them one more hug, kiss them goodbye or hear their voice again. Sometimes it's hard to understand God's plan.. but we must trust, it was for a better reason! I pray for your family in this time.. may they seek comfort when it seems impossible! Your husband and children will be in my thoughts and prayers, as they face the days ahead of them..
Shawna was a bright light, so full of love and a great person to know. She always could brighten my day. I will remember her smiles and laughter. I will miss you - your beauty and your spirit.
