Della Juanita Edwards, 92, of Bokoshe, OK passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Poteau, OK. Della was born October 14, 1919 in Mena, AR to Isaac Newton & Lucrecia Wiles. She was a homemaker. Della was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jasper Edwards Sr.; sons, Jasper Edwards Jr. and Robert Edwards; daughter, Laura Jean Edwards and several siblings.
Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Wanda Edwards of Dallas, TX, Anna & Bill Tackett of Milton, OK, Joy & Elmer Willhite of Jenny Lind, AR; sons, Leo “JC” Edwards of Bullock, NC, Bobby Edwards of Bokoshe, OK; 28 Grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Martha Williams of Quinton, OK.
Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Solid Rock Pentecostal Church, Panama, OK with Rev. Lynn Bullard & Rev. Tim Painter. Interment will follow in Massey Cemetery near Blocker, OK. Pallbearers will be Chris Bush, Justin Price, Chad Price, Bobby Edwards Jr., Mark Hatcher, Jasper Lee Chronister, Tommy Shaw, Charles Shaw.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
