http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif Bonnie Marie King, 87, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 in Poteau. Bonnie was born in Poteau, OK on December 22, 1924 to Claude & Nellie A. (Pendergrass) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Johnson; mother, Nellie Johnson and step father, Claude Oliver; husband, Henry “J.R.” King; and best friend, Mary Tiffee. Survivors include her son & daughter in law, Jimmy & Nancy King of Poteau, OK; granddaughters, Jamie Rowland, Emilee King & Natalee King all of Poteau; 2 great grandsons; Jaxon King & Gavin Rowland; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be 10 am, Monday, January 23, 2012 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Paul Wilson, Connor Gilstrap, Jack Colwell, Nate Warren, James Mathis & Bruce Thompson. The family will be at the funeral home from 4-6 pm Sunday to visit with relatives and friends.
