Glen Hembree, 77, of Heavener, OK passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Fort Smith, AR. Glen was born April 18, 1934 in Shawnee, OK to Samuel Powell & Carmen Elois (McMurray) Hembree. He owned an OTASCO store. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hope Hembree; brother, Bob Hembree & sister, Emma Montgomery.
Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Glenda & David Ray of Eufaula, OK; son & daughter-in-law, Steve & Donna Hembree of Heavener, OK; 6 grandchildren, Christie Ray, Scott Ray, Carrie Ray Parish, Morgan Emery, Jake Hembree, Sam Hembree; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Corky Cranfield of Heavener, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Memorial services will be 2 pm, Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Heavener, OK.

Glen will be missed by many of us...especially our Heavener High School class of 1952. Glen and Mildred Hope were both important members of our class , and my friends, while growing up in Heavener and as contributing members of the community.
Our prayers are with the family during these trying times.
