Shirley N. Darneal, 73, of Panama, OK passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Panama. Shirley was born March 3, 1938 in Williams, OK to Bryan & Ethel (Byrd) Keeran. She was a homemaker. Shirley was a member of the Panama Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Darneal; 3 sisters, Audie Palmer, Geraldine Collins and Lorene Collins and brother, Earl Keeran. Survivors include her daughters & son in law, Deanna Martin of Panama, OK, Newana & Ron Loomis of Panama, OK; 1 son & daughter in law, Keith & Ruth Darneal of Wister, OK; grandchildren, Robbie Keylon, Dusty Keylon, Christy Richmond, Fanci Duvall, & Cassie Peterson; 12 great grandchildren; special nephew & his wife, Larry & Chiquita Goines of Cameron, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be 2 pm, Monday, June 13, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Pallbearers will be Keith Darneal, John Duvall, Tommy Peterson, Ron Loomis, Robbie Keylon & Dusty Keylon. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Goines.

Dear Deanna,Newana & Keith. I am sorry that I could not be there to support you during this time. Aunt Shirley was a very special person and loved you all very much. We shall all have memories of the good times of our youth that we shared. Along with the very special part that your Mom plays in those memories . She is at rest now and along with your Dad will watch over you from above..
