Kenneth D. Montgomery, 75, of Heavener, OK passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 in Fort Smith, AR. Kenneth was born in Coleman County, TX to Ottis J. & Iola E. (Evrage) Montgomery. Kenneth served in the US Air Force and was a retired long-haul truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin D. Montgomery; & sister, Reba M. Quintanilla.
Survivors include his sisters & brothers in law, Gail & Larry Goble of Howe, OK; Helen Lane of Somerset, TX, Joy & Mike Woolard of South Boston, VA., Mary & Don Lynch of San Antonio, TX; brother & sister in law, Larry & Marge Montgomery of Springtown, TX; numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many friends.
Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will be in Bangs Cemetery, Bangs, TX – graveside services 2 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2011. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Goble, Mike Woolard, & Don Lynch.

Red has a son, Keith Dwaine Montgomery, who was born before Kevin, April 5, 1978. He is also a truck driver and lives in Bismarck, ND
