Ronnie Lee Brown, 62, of Howe, OK passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Howe. Ronnie was born in Poteau, OK on September 23, 1948 to Mose Ezekiel Sr. & Ina Aline (Barnes) Brown. He served in the US Army from 1968-1974. Ronnie worked for JOB Construction for 30 years as a mechanic. He loved his family, camping and fishing. He was a kindhearted man. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Lynette Brown, sister, Sue Stalkings; brother, Donald Brown; and niece, Betsy Kelley.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Patsy of the home; children, Janette Lynn & Brian Ford, Amanda Dawn Brown, & granddaughter, Kourtney Shey Ford of the home; brother & sister in law, Mose Jr. & Anita Brown of Heavener, OK; sister & brother in law, Phyllis & Hubert McGee of Heavener, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, June 20, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Brian McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Lloyd House Jr., Jerry Walker, Buddy Kelley, & Marcus Henry. Honorary pallbearers will be Art House & Donnie Brown.
