Mackey Joe McBride, 52, of Poteau, OK passed away June 12, 2011 in Fort Smith, AR. Mackey was born in Talihina, OK on July 12, 1958 to Wilmer Odes “Sam” & Drucille (Ritter) McBride. He was a mechanic at Lum’s. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Neva Tackett & Cynthia Holderfield; brother, Ray McBride.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie “Billie” of the home; 3 sons, James Black of Heavener, OK, Daniel Black of Panama, OK, David Black of Muldrow, OK; 12 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Pat Vinson of Noble, OK, Gail Mayer of Poteau, OK, Shirley Picklesimer of Poteau, OK, Sammie Thompson of Panama, OK, & Becky Maxell of Poteau, OK; 2 brothers, Sam McBride of Carlsbad, NM, Tim McBride of Hackett, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends.
Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, June 15, 2011 graveside at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK with Randy Lum officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be James Black, Daniel Black, David Black, Mark McBride, Gerald Thompson, Chris Tackett. Honorary pallbearers will be Randal Foster, Shawn Richison, Carlton Montoya, & Cody Lum. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with friends & relatives.

So Sorry to hear about Mac, I had some really good times with him as a young boy, Our family will miss him as well,

That was my papa he was an amazing man I loved him so very much words couldnt even explain the connection i had with him I miss him everyday and think of him everyday
