
Gerald Carlyle Lang, 90, of Poteau, OK passed away on August 3, 2009 in Poteau. Gerald was born on April 19, 1919 in Jamestown, New York to William & Mable (Harrison) Lang. Gerald as a World War II veteran, serving in the US Army and a metal estimator until his retirement He was a member of 1st Assembly of God Church in Poteau. He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona on January 22, 2002 and his parents.
Gerald is survived by a son & daughter in law, Kevin & Jean Lang of Spiro, OK; a grandson, Paul Bosley of Spiro, OK; 2 granddaughters, Sheila Taylor of Jacksonville, AR & Theresa Webster of Spiro, OK; a stepdaughter, Jesse Milburn of Shady Point, OK; 3 step granddaughters, Shannon Helstein & Angelina Milburn both of Shady Point, K & Dawn Dexter of Warwick, RI; 9 step great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous other relatives & loved ones & many beloved friends.
Funeral services for Gerald were held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 8, 2009 at First Assembly of God Church in Poteau, OK with the Reverend Keith Williams officiating. Interment followed the services with arrangements under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
