Betty Boyer, 84, of Muskogee, OK passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 in Poteau, OK. She was born in Springfield, MO on December 12, 1924 to Earnest A. & Gertrude (Denham) Stone. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Muskogee, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Aaron Logwood.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene T. “Gene” Boyer of the home; 2 daughters & sons in law, Judy & Ed Logwood of Harrisonville, MO, Sherrie & Mike Jones of Poteau, OK; one son, Steven & Mariann of Chesapeake, VA; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be held 10 am, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Reverend Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Interment will be at 3 pm, at White Chapel Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
