Kenneth Edward
"Kenny" Monroe Jr., 89, of
LeFlore, OK passed away Thursday,
November 2, 2017 in Talihina, OK.
Kenny was born November 1, 1928 in Shawano, WI to Kenneth Sr. & Ilda
L. (Mork) Monroe. He was a retired
veteran of the US Navy where he served in WWII and Korea. Kenny was a member of the LeFlore Baptist
Church. He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Survivors include his wife
Catherine of the home; 3 daughters & sons in law, Barbara Jean Monroe of
Enid, OK, Diana June & Casey Warren
of LeFlore, OK, Julie Ann & Johnny Warren of Wister, OK; son, Charles
Franklin Monroe of Pocola, OK; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2
great great grandchildren; special friends, Margaret Castleberry & Terry
Cross; other relatives, loved ones and many beloved friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Ron
Bess & Kent Cotarelo officiating.
Interment will follow in LeFlore Cemetery, LeFlore, OK. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mark, Bryan & Bradley Warren, Shawn &
Brent Billings, Steven Rowton; Honorary
pallbearers will be Casey & Johnny Warren, Victoria Monroe Hayes, Elisa
Monroe Adam, Andrea Rowton, Russell & Andrew Monroe.
