Luretta Sue Burgess Free,
76, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Poteau. Sue was born May 9, 1941 in Wister, OK to
Melvin & Myra (Fortner) Burgess. She
was a bank supervisor. She was preceded
in death by her parents.
Survivors include her
daughter & son in law, Tammy & Matthew Keefer of Carbondale, IL; sons
& daughter in law, Brian & Susanne Free of Poteau, OK, Kyle Free of St.
Louis, MO; grandson, Chance Free of Little Rock, AR; sister & brother in
law, Onetta & Thurman Flynn of Gas, KS; brother & sister in law, Jerry
& Georgia Burgess of Grand Prairie, TX; special friend, John Chitwood;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Monday, October 23, 2017 at Evans Chapel
of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau. Pallbearers will be Joe Davison,
Mark Chitwood, Chance Free, Rodney
Hemphill, Kendall Ballew & Don Manlove.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Sue was a very sweet lady...she made me feel so "at home" when I transferred from the branch and started working with her. She will be greatly missed and my prayers and condolences are with all her family.
