Robert
Lee James, 86, of Cameron, OK passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Ft. Smith,
AR. Robert was born January 13, 1931 in
Cameron, OK to Robert & Eva (Colley)James.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; a
daughter, Kathy Mae James; son in law, Roger Barnes; brothers, Ernest, Willard
& George James.
Robert was a plant supervisor at Southern Steel &
Wire. He touched the lives of many.
Survivors
include his wife of 64 years, Dortha (Solomon) James of the home; sons, Ernie
Lee James and wife Diana of Tulsa, OK, Avery Garth James and wife JoAnn of
Cameron, OK and Robert Dale James of Cameron; daughter, Donna Lou Barnes of
Cameron, OK; sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Cameron, OK, Bessie Duncan of
Sugarloaf, OK; brother, David James; grandchildren, Shane, Eric, Kevin,
Brittany, Michele, Mellissa, Jason, Regina, Casey, Kyle, Devin and Kevin; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great-great
grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and many
friends.
Service
will be 2 pm, Monday, July 10, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories.
The
family will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 pm - 5 pm to visit with
family and friends.
