Yancy Russell Long, 30, of
Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday,
September 12, 2016 in Fayetteville.
Yancy was born March 26, 1986 in Poteau, OK to Timothy & Misty Dawn (Lydick)
Long. He was preceded in death by uncle
Russell Lydick; grandmother, Margaret Bell; grandfather, Johnny Jones; great
grandparents, R.B. & Bernice Bell & Uncle Jerry.
Survivors include his
girlfriend, Teresa Collins; daughter, Bella Long of Stilwell, OK; mother, Misty
Bates & husband Ed of Wister, OK; father Timothy Long & wife Vicky of Korea; brother, Josh Massey of Wister, OK;
sisters, Satin Myers & husband Tory of Rose Bud, AR, Sapphire Benson & husband Rocky of Poteau;
grandparents, Jim & Jean Long of McAlester; several nieces, nephews, other
loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be
10 am, Saturday, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.

Yancy, you will never know how many hearts you have broken, how many little ones just want to know "why can't he come home!?" How many Elders try to keep their lips from quivering when they mention your name. And how the smile has gone from your Father's face when he thinks of you. All our dreams of life, with you in them are painful because you are not there! Don"t ever think you are not missed! I wish we had told you then how much we loved and needed you. Instead of wishing about it now.
