Billy Don "Bill"
Martin, 71, of Heavener, OK passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 in Muskogee,
OK. Bill was born July 15, 1944 in New
Castle, IN to Charlie & Artie Martin.
He was a baker. Bill was a
veteran of the US Army. He was preceded
in death by his parents; brothers, Phil, John, James & Ralph Martin;
brother in law, William Hanley.
Survivors include his wife,
Mary of the home; daughters, Dawana
& Gary Peterson of Hontubby, OK, Trish & Kevin Payne of Heavener, OK;
son, Don & Janna Martin of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, Michay, Nickole, Trevor,
Sara, Trent, Derrek, Teah, Tyler and Taylor; 4 great grandchildren; brother,
Danny & Luann Martin in Indiana; sisters in law, Sharon Martin of Kokomo,
IN, Pat & Bruce Hamm of IN, Troy Faye Hugle of OK; brother in law, Dennis
Hanley of OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at New Beginning Church, Poteau with Rev. Don Martin and
Fred Curd officiating. Interment will
follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Fred Curd, Mark Burton, David Hale, Richard McGhee,
Larry Tustin, Steve Madden, Dennis Bohannon, James Morrison.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
In lieu of flowers
contributions may be made to New Beginning Church.
