Dennis
Albert Wells, 64, of Wister died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Talihina
Veteran’s Center. Dennis was born December 2, 1949 in Elyria,
Ohio to Wade D. and Thelma (Davis) Wells.
Dennis,
Lance Corporal, United States Marine Corp, was a Vietnam Veteran and proud of
his service to his country. He was a mechanic in California
before relocating to Oklahoma
where he, alongside his father, successfully ranched for many years.
Dennis was a lover of libraries, knowledge and learning and a caring and
compassionate man. He was devoted to God and is now once again cradled in
His arms.
Dennis
leaves no family but is survived by his beloved friend Leslie Langley.
Graveside
services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Smith National
Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas
with the Reverend Larry Strouse officiating.
