What a good man we have lost, but out loss is Heaven's gain. I will never forget the many chats I had with John in his garage while I pastored at the Wister Nazarene Church. I chuckled one time when he made sure I knew he was a member at First Baptist and he was not changing. I assured him I was just a friend and all was cool. God bless you Dorothy and Sherry. I love you both.

John was a very special person. He was a good friend. People will never know how much he did to help our town of Wister. He worked every day and most nights at the Wister fire department. A lot of nights past midnight being sure all fire equipment was ready to be used in case of a fire. John was loved by many and will be missed. A person like John only comes around maybe once in a lifetime.
