Ronald J. Rogers

Ronald J. Rogers passed away June 15, 2011 in Evergreen, CO. Ronald was born November 9, 1947 in Carlsbad, NM to Andrew (Buddy) & Dimple Rogers. He volunteered for the US Army when he was 18 years old. He served in Vietnam for 2 years in the DMZ Zone on the front line in Contien. He worked as a clerk in Fort Bliss, TX while based there. He worked as a State Gas Inspector for the State of Colorado and also for Shell Rock Oil Pilot Plant. He retired in Colorado that he loved. He loved his family and friends. Survivors include his children, Stephanie Puentez of Robert Lee, TX; Jon Rogers of Abilene, TX; Zachary Rogers of Conifer, CO, Maddie Rogers of Ojai, CO; grandchildren, Garrett Rogers, Jayton Torres, Kaylee & McKenzee Puentez & Logan Rogers; parents, Andrew (Buddy) & Dimple Rogers of Poteau, OK & sisters, Joyce Barbaree of Panama, OK & Deloris Hughie of Poteau, OK; numerous nieces & nephews; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Memorial services will be 2 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Phil McGehee officiating.
