Colton Blaize Samuels, 2, of Mt. Juliet, TN, formerly of Poteau/Talihina, OK passed away on June 20, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Colton was preceded in death by a great great grandmother, Rena Samuels; uncles Stephen Chandler & Trevor Brown & cousin Mikal Morphis.
Colton is survived by his parents, John & NaTasha (Chandler) of the home; a sister & brother, Rena & Gunner both of the home; paternal grandparents, Peggy Ludlow & Bobby Samuels of Talihina, OK, maternal grandparents, Daniel K. & Mia Miller of Monroe; Damon & Tammy Brown of Monroe; paternal grandmother Ruth Ann Pierce of Poteau, OK & maternal great grandparents Winford & Carolyn Chandler of Poteau, OK; aunts, JoAnna Walls of Talihina, Cheyanne Cranfield of Heavener, Shayna Rice of Wister, Lacey Brown Langley of Poteau, Tara, Shyla, & Lanie Brown and Bennie Miller of Monroe; uncles Tyler Brown of Monroe & Daniel Miller of Kaplan, LA; numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives & loved ones; & many beloved friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 25, 2010 at Poteau Church of Christ with Scott Martin officiating. Interment followed the services in Monroe Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. Pallbearers were John Samuels, Bobby Samuels, Damon Brown, & Tyler Brown.
