Earlene Ross, 76, of Cameron, OK was born on February 21, 1933 in Cameron, OK to Melvin &I Eunice (Ray) Hughes. Earlene was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cameron; a clerk, and a homemaker. Earlene’s parents and a sister, Melvadene Hughes precede her in death.
Earlene is survived by her beloved husband, Oran Ross of the home; a daughter & son in law, Lea & Jim Ridenour of Cameron, OK; a son, Byron Ross of Cameron, OK; her grandchildren, Ross Ridenour, John Ridenour, Sara & Craig Barnett, & Bryan & Angila Montgomery; a great granddaughter, Ashley Montgomery; a brother Billy Ray Hughes of Santa Clarita, CA; numerous other relatives & loved ones, and many beloved friends.
Funeral services for Earlene were held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at First United Methodist Church of Cameron with the Reverend Gary Withrow officiating. Interment followed the services in Greenhill Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Ross Ridenour, John Ridenour, Bryan Montgomery, & Craig Barnett.
