Funeral Service for Ruth Ann Ellis, 75 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born on January 11, 1947 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Velma Nadine Kramer and Alton Ray Billings and passed away on October 9, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Ray Don Ellis, and Matthew Dale Ellis; Grand daughter, Emilia Jane Ellis.

Donnie and Matt, My sincere condolences on the passing of Ruth Ann. She will be missed by us all and I know for a fact she was Mom's favorite cousin. She so enjoyed spending time in Poteau with her and their trips to Catfish Cove in Fort Smith along with the drives to Talimena to see the foliage when in season. They both really enjoyed the time they spent together even if it was as simple as a trip to Walmart and a Burger King. Each cherished their time and small trips. They both rest in peace now and leave us cousins to carry on, and we shall as family.
