Joy W. Jones, 84, of Poteau, OK went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at her home. Joy was born November 23, 1936 in Holdenville, OK to John “Jack” W. & Ora N. (Barnhill) Arnold. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Bill Jones (12/19/2011); her parents; brother, Jack Arnold of Ketchum, OK.
Joy is survived by her son, Steven M. Jones & Caleb Menz of Chicago, IL; brothers & sisters in law, Dan & Marty Arnold of Moore, OK, Connie & Agatha Arnold of Corpus Christi, TX; other relatives, her beloved church family; many friends.
Memorial services will be 10 am, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at First Free Will Baptist Church, Poteau with Rev. Cory Thompson and Rev. Jim Cook officiating. She will be interred in Steep Hollow Cemetery, Bryan, TX beside Bill.

Joy Jones was a precious lady. A strong Christian worker for the Lord. She always had a smile for you. Barbara and I send our deepest regard to the family.
Loved Sister Joy, she was a blessing to everyone and will be missed.
