Walter “Wayne” Durant, 63,
of Tulsa, OK passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Tulsa. Wayne was born April 11, 1956 in Tulsa to
Walter Noah & Vonda Lorece (Melton) Durant.
Wayne was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his
mother, Vonda Smith; sisters, Donna & Robert Macon, Sandra Kemp, Cheryl & William
Hayes; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Even though Wayne never had children he considered his nieces and
nephews as his own.
Services 2 pm, Wednesday,
July 3, 2019 at Evans Chapel of
Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK. Pallbearers will be Torrey Waller, Cory Waller, Brandon Stowers, Larry Bass, Tim Stinson,
Dan Stinson, Richard Huddleston.
The family will be at the funeral
home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with friends and family.
