Joe Farrar

Bobby Joe Farrar, 74, of Cameron, OK passed away Friday, July 26, 2019.  Joe was born October 20, 1944 in Poteau, OK to Loyd & Oma (Seaton) Farrar who preceded him in death.  Joe was a retired auto mechanic. He loved growing watermelons, going to the cabin to see the bears and spending time with his family.

          Joe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce (Wiles) Farrar of Cameron, OK; two sons and daughters in law, Benny & Diane Farrar of Quinton, OK; Jackie & Nina Farrar of Cameron, OK; sister, Norma (Tootie) Brooks of Cameron, OK; 4 grandchildren, Jamie Farrar of Cameron, OK,  Joshua & Dinah Farrar of Fort Bragg, NC, Justin & Ashleigh Farrar of Broken Arrow, OK, Haley & Tegner Jacobson of Belgrade, MT; 3 great grandchildren and two more arriving soon; one very special fur baby, Dustmop; numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and family.

          Services will be 10 am, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be Jamie, Joshua, Justin Farrar & Tegner Jacobson.   Honorary pallbearers will be Beck & Eli Farrar.

          The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm to visit with friends & relatives.

Billy Barnes

Billy L. Barnes, 39, of Cameron, OK passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Billy was born October 22, 1979 in Poteau, OK to Walter Lee & Terry Marie (Bomar) Barnes. 

He is survived by his parents; brother, Brian; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.  No services are planned at this time.  {very sorry for this delay}

Virgil Lee Musgrove

Virgil Lee Musgrove, 62, of  Poteau, OK passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 in Poteau.  Virgil was born May 28, 1957 in Bisbee, AZ to Albert & Daisy (Curren) Musgrove.  Virgil is survived by his wife, Donna; son & daughter in law, Chad & Jessica Musgrove; numerous relatives & friend in CA, NY, OK, & AR.

Joe Ward

Joseph Edwin Ward, 84, of Shady Point, OK   passed away Tuesday,  July 23, 2019 in Shady Point.  Joe was born June 24, 1935 in Pontiac, MI to Lionel O. & Stella L. (Tackett) Ward.  He retired after 30 years of driving for Roadway Express.  Joe liked to fish & hunt.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; son, Jeffrey and grandsons, Jesse Paul & John.

Survivors include his son, Terry Ward of Shady Point, OK; daughter, Lisa Balcombe & husband Cordell of Ridgway, CO; Grandchildren, Hunter Balcombe, Kristen & Joe Mang, Vanessa Deramus, Megan Rose-Garrett, Matthew Ward & Cheyenne Duncan; great grandchildren, Ashley, Riley, Jade, Sophia, Madeline, Zoe, Kevin, Danni, Michael, Jesse, Easton, Carogen, Noah; other relatives, loved ones and  friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday in Broken Bow, OK.

Donnie Earn

Donald Hoyt Earn, 63, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 in Poteau.  Donnie was born July 2, 1956 in Belle Glade, FL to Hoyt B & Jean F. (Kurtin) Earn.  He was a mechanic/truck driver.  Donnie was a veteran of the US Army.  Donnie was a great father & loved being a grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his father, Hoyt and mother, Jean Navarro; brothers, Chuck Earn, John Earn; sister, Norma Frost.

Survivors include his wife, Jamie of the home;  daughters, Stacy Brown of Ceres, CA, Sunnie Frey of Woodward, OK, Frankie Woodral of Cameron, OK Donnie Sharp of Las Vegas, NV, Lacey Layman of Poteau, OK, Randi Larson of Lake Havasu, AZ, Penelope Earn of Poteau; 5 sons, Daniel Earn of Casper, WY, Jonathan Earn of OR, Jessie Earn of Lake Havasu, AZ, Donald Earn & Chase Earn of Poteau, OK; brothers, Ed Navarro of Poteau, Rick  & David Navarro of Modesto, CA; sister, Eleana Navarro of Turlock, CA; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be 6 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Phil McGehee officiating.
