Betty J. Williams, 93, of Pocola, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was a retired nurse for Gerber and member of the Pocola First United Methodist Church.
Funeral
service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 26 at Pocola First United
Methodist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith
under the
direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 2 – 7 p.m. at Evans & Miller
Funeral Home in Pocola, where the family will visit with friends from 5 –
7 p.m.
She
is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Williams of the home; three
daughters, Doris Reichert and husband, Michael of Evansville, AR, Linda
Pendergrass
of Cedarville and Janice Riggs and husband, Terry of Tulsa, OK; one
son-in-law, Don Rice of Charleston; one sister, Connie Cloud of Spiro;
twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and
twenty-three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Rice; one brother, Donnie
Beashears; sister, Dorothy Williams; son-in-law, Ewell “Bub” Pendergrass
and one grandson, Michael Edward Rice.
Pallbearers will be Tim Mahan, M. Shawn Reichert, Cody Rice, Tommy D. Henry, Dean Pendergrass and Doug Pendergrass.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
This service is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.
