Bryon Wade "Bear"
Cherry, 56, of Broken Bow, OK passed away January 15, 2018, in Tulsa, OK.
Bear was born September 16, 1961, in Poteau, OK to Wade Lee & Ellen Estell
(Copeland) Cherry. He was a heavy machinery mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his
daughters, Larrissa Allen of Ft. Smith, AR, Bea Mize of Talihina, OK, Tasha
Montang of North Platt, NE; son, Justin Mize of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Kay
McConnell of Moore, OK, Gail Maiorano of Claremore, OK, Rhonda Thompson of
Panama, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Dale
Lowrimore officiating. Interment will
follow in Shady Point Cemetery, Shady Point, OK. Pallbearers will be Dennis James, Austin
Herald, J.C. Remy, Joe Christenberry, Matt Berry. The family will be at the funeral home on
Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Bryon was such a larger-than-life guy. He was honest, caring, and always had a smile and a joke. I will miss him very much. Hard to believe he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
