Joyce Ann Carmack, 65,
of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday,
September 30, 2017 in Poteau. Joyce was
born August 27, 1952 in Heavener, OK to Lonzo Eli & Iona Mae (Crane)
Hudlow. She worked for DHS. Joyce
was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put others first. Though she was a quiet and private person she
never had an unkind word for anyone.
Those who knew her remember her great sense of humor and her infectious
laugh. She was married to her husband,
Charlie, for 39 years and her family was always her priority. For many years, Joyce was a valued employee
and a caregiver to her beloved family members.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her
husband, Charles Carmack of the home; son, Clint & Nina Carmack of
Heavener, OK; daughters & sons in law, Lori & Jerry Boblett of Shady
Point, OK, Caren & Damon Roath of Southaven, MS; grandchildren, Kayleigh
Ashlock & Ben, Courtney Boblett, Kameron
Carmack, Cooper Roath, Tripp Roath; brother, Charles Hudlow and wife Maureen;
sisters, Pat Murray & husband Joe of Humble, TX, Judy Ervin & husband
Jim of Poteau, OK; sisters in law, Sharon Carmack of Vian, OK, Kay Carmack of
Poteau, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday,
October 4, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow in
Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will
be James Vaughn, Damon Roath, Jerry Boblett, Keith Brown, Wes Jones & Kelly Lynn.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
