Edwin (Ed) Nathan Decker,
69, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Ed was born in Howe,
OK on May 2, 1947. He was the second child and only son of the late Elmer
Nathan Decker & Pauline Ollar Decker. He was a member of the Mt. View
Baptist Church & a member of the Howe Water Board.
Ed, a long time resident of
Howe, OK went to high school in Patterson, CA, where he met many life-long
friends. Early in life Ed worked at PG&E building electric towers before
becoming an entrepreneur in ranching, farming, trucking, mining, and land
development. Although very successful in his entrepreneurial endeavors some say
Ed missed his calling as a motivational speaker. Collecting and restoring
classic cars, coke machines, and other antiques were among Ed's greatest
passions. Ed will be most remembered as a loving husband & father, devoted
friend, and a trusted advisor & mentor.

Paula Decker of the home; Children, Kristi & Erik Brandt of Apple Valley,
CA; Jenny Decker of Howe, OK; Jessica & Jason Wallis of Bedford, TX;
Krystal & Clayton Collins of Heavener, OK; Mark Decker of Wister, OK;
Justin & Meghan Decker of Grapevine, TX; Brandon & T.J. Hemphill of
Smithville, OK; Lane Titsworth of Hatfield, AR; Logan Titsworth of Howe, OK;
Colten Meeks of Howe, OK; Special Uncle & wife, Elton & Roni Ollar of
Howe, OK; 19 Grandchildren; Numerous other friends, family, and loved ones.
Services will be held at
10:00am Monday June 27, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Heavener, OK, with
Rev. Tim Trent & Larry Stacy officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain
View Cemetery, Glendale, OK. Pallbearers
will be Collins Miller, Shannon Nichols, Sammy Pierce, Jeff Cooper, Curtis Paul
Faulkenberry, & Jace Tanguay. Family will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday
June 26, 2016 from 2-5pm to visit with family & friends.
