Violet Lorene (Busbee) Luman, 90 of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Poteau. Violet was born December 9, 1921 in Princeton, TX to James Calvin. & Verlia Florence (Robbins) Busbee. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Lane Luman and son, Ronnie D. Luman; also grandson, Gregory Luman.
Survivors include her sons & daughters in law, Jerry & Marcia of Odem, TX, Gary V. & Kim of Yukon, OK; daughter & son in law, Charlotte & David Abrams of Poteau, OK; 8 grandchildren, David Abrams Jr., Traci Jackson, Kimberly Sugar, Lane Luman, Cory Luman, Eric Luman, Ronnie Luman & Mitch Luman; numerous great and great great grandchildren; nephew, Billy Jean Reed of Arizona; sisters in law, Jody Swaner, Donna & Glenn Holland, Leota Luman; brother in law, David Luman; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Church of Christ in Erick, OK with Brian Berry officiating. Interment will be in Erick Cemetery, Erick, OK.
