Harold Kitchens Dutton

 

Harold Kitchens Dutton, 95, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Harold was born February 10, 1926 in Jasper, AL to Rufus & Bertha Alice (Kitchens) Dutton.  He was a  US Army  WWII combat veteran and retired from the US Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Belle Kennedy Dutton; grandson, Christopher Vandagriff; brothers, Francis, Jessie & Travis Dutton.

 

Survivors include his children, Diane Vandagriff, Renee Dutton-Kennedy, and Robert Dutton; grandchildren, Patrick Vandagriff, Reese & Yuri Hines; 6 great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 

Graveside services will be 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 26, 2022  at LeFlore Cemetery with Jim Cook officiating.  Pallbearers will be Robert Dutton, Patrick Vandagriff, Reese Hines and Yuri Hines.

Charles Wayne Gentry


 Charles Wayne Gentry, 77, of Heavener, OK passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home.  Charles was born September 19, 1944 to Jessie Dee & Sarah (Green) Gentry.  He was retired from the US Army. 

 

Survivors include his wife, Mary; son, Jason & wife Jackie; granddaughter, Sarah Dickison & husband Jacob; great grandson, Jackson Dickison; sister, Laverne Kaderli; brothers, Roy, Vonnie  & John Gentry; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 

Services will be 2 pm, Monday, January 24, 2022 graveside at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK with Rev. Sam Watkins officiating.

KEITH WELCH

  



Alwyn “Keith” Welch, 65, entered heaven into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at his home in Poteau, OK.  Keith was born August 1, 1956 in Minden, LA to the late Albert Jack Welch, Jr. and Carole Waurynne Hurley.  Keith retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad after 38 years of service.  He loved the railroad since he was a little boy.  He also loved riding motorcycles, but mostly loved his family and friends.

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Rachael Gloger & husband Christoph, Christine Magryta & husband, Noah & their sons, Carson and Trenton; son, Bradley Welch, and daughter Breanna Welch; stepsons, Jacob Huffman & wife Ashley, and Eric Pilcher; grandson, Grayson Neville; granddaughter, Adeline Welch; step grandsons, Jesse Huffman and Liam Huffman;  sister, Brenda Grissom & husband Jerry; and brother Randy Gill & wife Melinda; nieces, Hailey Slack & husband Logan and Brittany Grissom; nephew, Reed Gill; great niece Willow Slack and great nephew, Wilder Slack; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 

Memorial service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.
