Bill Barlow

Bill Dale Barlow, 85, of Panama, OK passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, in Ft. Smith, AR.  Bill was born August 28, 1932,  in Panama, OK to Edward & Minnie (Lowery) Barlow.  He was a firefighter.  Bill was a veteran of the US Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Phyllis Jean; son, Terry Dale Barlow & wife Kim of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie Scott & husband Brandon,  Rebecka  Termine & husband Greg; 6 great grandchildren, Saul, Mae & Penny Scott; Brayden, Gage & Tara Termine;  brother,  Sharil Barlow of Hemet, CA; sisters, Patricia Bell of Panama, OK, Lorene Cherry of Muskogee, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 10 am, Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Dale Lowrimore & Larry Harris officiating.  Pallbearers will be Dwayne Fox, Johnny Bell Jr., Brandon Scott, Trenton Bell, Greg Termine, Ronnie Bell, Brian Nation & Ron Mullins.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Real, Elton Willoughby, Robert Barr, Ron Parham & Steve Brill.

Joey Knight

Joseph "Joey" Knight, 37, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Poteau.  Joey was born July 6, 1980 in Poteau, OK to Kenny &Sheila (Roberts) Knight.  He was a mechanic & a volunteer fire fighter.  Joey was preceded in death by his father; grandmothers, Doris Schneider, Phyllis Hayes; grandfathers, Delmer Roberts, Charles Knight & James Noggle.

Survivors include his sons, Tristan & Rowdy Knight; mother Sheila Noggle & husband Jim; sisters, Mandy & Terrance Warren, Jennifer & Doug Pennington, Alicia & Kevin Hoffman; nephews & nieces, J.T. & Colby Melson, Jakston Clark, Gillian, Cameron & Logan Pennington, Brett Hoffman; grandmother, Pearletta Noggle; girlfriend, Samantha Melton & her children, Chloe, Bryar & Chase; mother of his children, Jerri Hildebrant;  numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be 2 pm, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Gary McCutchin officiating.

L.M. Ramage

L.M. Ramage, 86, of Pocola, OK, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, in Ft. Smith, AR.  L.M. was born December 14, 1931, in Bingen, AR, to Daley & Eunice (Byers) Ramage.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  L.M. & Millie owned and supervised Midwest Printing in Ft. Smith.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dale.

Survivors include his wife, Mille; daughter, Susan Ramage of Benton, AR; sons, Chuck & Vicky Ramage of Palmer, AK, Bill & Laura Ramage of Ft. Smith, AR; 4 grandchildren & spouses, Daniel & Amy, Kristin & Matthew, Nathan & Sophea, Haley; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 11 am, Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola with Rev. Frank Panzrino and George Redden officiating.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola, OK.  Pallbearers will be Chuck, Bill, Daniel & Nathan Ramage, Matthew Manos & Leon Robbins. 

          The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 am to visit with relatives & friends prior to the service at 11.

Bryer "Alvin" Benefield

Bryer Alen "Alvin" Benefield, 8, of Monroe, OK, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Monroe.  Alvin was born June 10, 2009 in Poteau, OK, to Joseph & Siobhan (Edwards) Benefield. 

Survivors include his parents; brothers, Gunner Benefield, Jace Ridenour & wife Kajea; grandparents, Ronald & Caren Edwards of Monroe, OK, Jaylene & Wendell Shephard of Howe, OK, George  Carol Urchison; aunts & uncle, Joy Edwards, Brittany Knight & husband Tony, Anna Shephard; special cousin, Brian Montgomery; nephew, Casen Ridenour; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Monroe School Gym, Monroe, OK with Brian Smith & Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Monore, OK.  Pallbearers will be Andy, Taylor, Trey, Jake & A.J. Roberts, Isaac Evans & Bryson Jones.

 The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.    Donations may be made at the funeral home to help the family with the expense.

Agnes Juanita Pierce

Agnes Pierce, 88, of Shady Point, OK went to be with the Lord Jesus Tuesday, December 19, 2017,  in Ft. Smith, AR.  Agnes was born July 31, 1929 in Midland, AR to Okla Homer & Iva (Boyd) Duffle.  She was a nurse's aide for 26 years at Sparks Hospital..  Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Pierce; brothers Okla (Ted) & Jim Duffle & sisters, Betty Hopson & Sue Amirkhanian.

Survivors include her children, Janet & Larry Kirkland of Shady Point, OK, Michael & Rev. Sandra Pierce of Panama, OK, Terry & Suzan Pierce of Shady Point, OK; grandchildren, Crystal & Daniel Restine, Raneka & C.J. Covey, Michelle & Shannon Bowen, Melissa & Eric Idhe, Victor & Lauren Pierce, Tara & Jesse Foos; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Duffle & wife Shirley of Wichita Falls, TX, Carl Duffle of Austria; sister in law, Wanda Gunter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 22, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Larry Harris & Steve Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Panama, OK.  Pallbearers will be Wendell Giles, Jackie Harris, Chad Cooper, James Fowler, Dennis Harrison and Jesse Foos.
