Fran Lindenau



Frances Lucille "Fran" Lindenau, 74, of  Spiro, OK passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 in Springfield, MO.  Fran was born September 11, 1942 in Bokoshe, OK to James Ledford "Ted" & Frankie (Holden)  Lowrimore.  She worked in oil & gas leasing & retired from the LeFlore County Clerk office. Fran was preceded in death by her son, Mike; parents &  brother, C.D. Lowrimore.



Survivors include her husband, William D. "Bill" Lindenau of home; daughter & son in law, Lisa & Mark Archey; granddaughters & grandson in law, Madison & Drew Jackson, Makiah & Micah Archey; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Muldrow Assembly of God {106 NW 3RD, MULDROW} .  Interment will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mark Archey, Drew Jackson, Steve Grizzle, Ike Davis, Bud Cosgrove & Dennis Fout.



The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

HERMAN BILLY



Herman Leon Billy, 77, of Howe, OK passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Herman was born April 14, 1939 in Poteau, OK to Calvin Simon & Louise (Kellogg) Billy.  He was a concrete finisher.  Herman was a veteran of the US Navy.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Herman Jr & Nathan Billy; brother, Calvin Billy; sister, Eva Sweat.



Survivors include his wife, Clemmy Billy of the home; 5 daughters, Eva Sims of Monroe, OK, Avo Wilson of Howe, OK, Joey Riley of Wister, OK, Lea Wilde of Howe, OK, Terrie Billy of CA; son, Warren Billy of Howe, OK; grandchildren, Kaylub, Jeremy & Derrick Sims,  Haley, Adam Jr, James, Devin & Emma Wilson, Coda Jr, Kyle & Destiny Riley, Bryce & Brennen Trent, Tara Ross, Taylor & Sean Wilde, Brandy  Davis, Lisa, Amber & David Billy; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Lowell Billy of Cameron; sisters, Celia Hicks of Mounds, OK, Joyce Horne of Huber Heights, OH, Deborah Erdmann of Lucern, CA, Violet Fortner of Tulsa, OK, Dovie Horton of Claremore, OK, Avo Dehart of Colorado Springs, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at First Baptist  Church in Heavener, OK with Rev. Sam Dyer officiating.  Interment will follow in Glendale/Mt. View Cemetery, Wister, OK.  Pallbearers will be Adam & James Wilson, Kaylub, Jeremy & Derrick Sims, Kyle Riley.



The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.


Joe Stanley Springer



Joe Stanley Springer,  65, of Pocola, OK passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Little Rock, AR.  Joe was born March 14, 1951 in Lexington, TN to Preston Audrain & Joyce Mayrene (Ivy) Springer.  He was a truck driver for 40 years.  He was a member of Southside Church of God 7th Day.   Joe was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricky Lynn Springer. 



Family remaining include his wife  of 46 years, Jessie of the home; son and daughter in law, David & Elizabeth Springer of  Huntington, AR; sister in law, Cindy Springer; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 10 am, Monday, January 9, 2017 at Evans Memorial Chapel, Pocola, OK with Pastor Richard Cress officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.  Pallbearers will be David Springer, Herman Yakley Sr., Herman Yakley Jr., Jeff Yakley, Darrell Gordon and Jamie Speaks.
    The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Sunday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Eveline Monks



          Eveline Monks, age 94, of Panama, OK, passed in peace Thursday evening, January 5, 2017, in Hartshorne, OK. Eveline was born July 29, 1922, in Williams, OK, to Marion and Mary Ward.            On June 6, 1940, in Cameron, OK, she married Leonard (Bill) Monks. She was a full-time housewife and Mother of four children. 

            Eveline had an unwavering faith in God, and was very active in many church activities and organizations.  She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her friends and family.  In her day, she baked many extra pies and hot rolls to donate for various pie suppers and fund raisers.  In addition to cooking, she also enjoyed sewing quilts with the Pocola Quilting club and donning her Red Hats with her Red Hat friends.  She will be fondly remembered for her involvement and contributions in her home community.

           She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H. Monks; three sons "Tommy" Monks, "Butch" Monks, and Larry Monks.  Also, one brother, Vernon Ward, and two sisters, Lorraine Rogers and Myrtle Dewitt.

           Survivors include one daughter, Donna and husband Ron Hunt of Hartshorne, OK;  two grandsons David and wife Tammie Hunt of Duncan, OK;  Brad  and wife Jennifer Hunt of Hartshorne, OK and great grandchildren Trey Hunt of Duncan, OK; Jared and Tyler Smith of Oklahoma City; Kya Hunt of Hartshorne, OK.   Also, one sister-in-law, Ruth Ward, Ft. Smith, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.

           Pallbearers include David Hunt, Brad Hunt, Trey Hunt, Tyler Smith, Jared Smith, and Michael Hunt; Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Dewitt, Jr. and Harold Arter.

           Services will be at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bryan Fouts officiating. Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Evans/Miller Funeral Home.


Kenneth Morris



Kenneth Morris, 84, of Cameron, OK passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Cameron.  Kenneth was born January 9, 1932  to Thomas Ed  & Pauline (Edwards) Morris.  He was a journeyman roofer.  Kenneth was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kayla Sweeten; great grandson, Wyatt Spearman; sister, Corine Miller; brother, Everett Morris.

      Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Alice Morris of the home; sons Frank Morris & wife Barbara of Cameron, OK, Keith Morris & wife Doris of Poteau, OK; daughters, Janie Nichols of Cameron, , Patricia Spearman of Cameron , Brenda Sweeten & husband Bill of Rock Island, Beverly Long & husband Bobby of Ft. Smith, AR; 17 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 4 sisters, Betty Johnson of Wagoner, OK, Velma Tehee of Locust Grove, OK, Mary Daniel of Muldrow, OK, Juanita Morris of Stigler, OK; brother, Johnny Morris of Stigler; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

        Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.  Pallbearers will be Steven, Tracey & Phillip Morris, Billy Spearman, Lucas Nichols, Javan  Long & Eric Nichols.



The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
