Hunter Corbin Tallant

 

Hunter Corbin Tallant, 19, of Poteau, OK passed away  Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Fort Smith, AR.  Hunter was born June 8, 2001 in Poteau to Brian Duane Tallant & Elizabeth Annette Wilson.  He loved to fish, play disc golf, and spend time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed making meatloaf with Memaw and eating Mom’s pork chops.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Graham; great grandparents, Neal & Wanda White; and great great grandparents, Rubin & Polly White.

          Survivors include his father, Brian Tallant; mother, Elizabeth Wilson & Scott Baker; sister, Bailey Wilson;  brothers, Christopher Brannon & Foster Tallant; grandparents, Mac Afzali, Beverly Afzali, and Sherry McCullough; numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 10 am, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Evans Chapel with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.  Pallbearers will be Cody Maxie, Blake Strickland, Jordan Nuzzi, Hunter Boyette, Robert Tallant, and Matthew Afzali.

        

          Family and friends are invited to join us after the services to celebrate and share stories of Hunter’s life at Long Lake Resort (located at 35740 US-59 South, Poteau).

            The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
