It
is with great sadness that the family of Lena Brake announces her passing on Saturday,
March 28, 2020 at the age of 92. Lena
was born January 22, 1928 in Germany.
Lena will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Dolores Brake Wilburn
and husband Lance of Jenks, OK; son, Brian Brake and wife Karen of Pocola, OK;
her brother, Hansi Schnaus of Germany; daughter in law, Katie Brake of
Greenwood, AR; 9 grandchildren, Frankie Schnitzlein of Ft. Smith; Christina
Brake Morris and husband Justin of Ft. Smith; Melissa Shumacher of Greenwood;
Chance and Preston Wilburn of Jenks, OK; Bridget Brake of Greenwood; Shanice
McKee of Pocola; Dallas and Jackson Brake of Pocola; 11 great grandchildren,
Countless nieces and nephews.
Lena retired from Tote-a-Poke and Cater
High. She was a homemaker. She is
preceded in death by her parents, Hans & Betty Schnaus; her brothers,
Willie and Walter Schnaus of Germany; daughter, Sandra Brake; son, Billy Brake;
husband, Charles Brake; son, Charlie Brake.
Services will be held at a later date.
